UNIVERGE SV8100
When running Desktop Applications in deskset mode for an IP phone when the registration
mode is set to automatic or manual, the user name and password must be different than that
of the IP phone.
A soft phone that is assigned a DSS console cannot override another IP phone.
A soft phone cannot override an IP phone that is assigned a DSS console.
Once a soft phone with a DSS console is logged in, it cannot log in with a different user name
and password.
Once a desktop is launched on one PC using a User ID and Password in deskset or soft
phone mode, the same User ID and Password cannot be used on a different PC in a different
mode.
If an IP Multiline phone has been controlled by the Desktop Application, this IP multiline
extension cannot be overridden by another IP multiline phone or soft phone.
Only one 3rd Party CTI connection to the SV8100 is supported. If a SV8100 system has
UCB (Unified Communications for Business), then the 3rd Party Shared Services feature of
SV8100 Desktop Applications cannot be used. If a SV8100 system has SV8100 Desktop
Applications with the 3rd Party Shared Services, then UCB cannot be used.
