is an example of how to define an interface range macro named test. To display the macro
definition, execute the show running-config command.
interface range
interface range macro name
Enter up to 16 characters for the macro name.
interface
Enter the
keyword (see below) and one of the interfaces slot/port,
port-channel or VLAN numbers. Select the range of interfaces for bulk
configuration. You can enter up to six comma separated ranges—spaces are
not required between the commas. Comma-separated ranges can include
VLANs, port-channels and physical interfaces.
Slot/Port information must contain a space before and after the dash. For
interface range tengigabitethernet 0/1 - 5
example,
interface range tengigabitethernet 0/1-5
For a Port Channel interface, enter the keyword
by a number:
Range: 1-128
For a 10-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
TenGigabitEthernet
followed by the slot/port information.
For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
followed by the slot/port information.
For a VLAN, enter the keyword
4094.
