SROS Command Line Interface Reference Guide BGP Configuration Command Set
bgp [compare-med | ignore-med]
Use the bgp compare-med command to configure the SROS to compare the Multi-Exit Discriminators
(MEDs) for all routes from the same autonomous system (AS). Use the bgp ignore-med to configure the
SROS to disregard all MED attributes for all received routes.
Syntax Description
No subcommands.
Default Values
By default, the SROS compares the MED attributes for routes from the same AS.
Usage Examples
The following example enables this option:
ProCurve(config)#router bgp 65000
ProCurve(config)#bgp compare-med
