dampening-interval <value>

Use the dampening-interval command to specify an amount of time to wait before allowing a new probe

status change to trigger a new action. Use the no form of this command to return to the default.

Syntax Description

Specifies the time interval value in seconds. Valid range is 1 to 4,294,967,295.

Default Values

By default, the interval is set to 0 seconds.

Usage Examples

The following example sets the dampening interval to 90 seconds:

ProCurve(config)#track track1

ProCurve(config-track-track1)#dampening-interval 90
