Fuel Filter (Renault)
N O T E : T h e fuel filter is located on the right rear
frame member.
Removal
R a i s e and support the vehicle.
P l a c e MOT. 453 c l a m p s (or equivalent) on the
h o s e s .
R e m o v e the fuel filter retaining strap bolt and
nut.
R e m o v e the hose clamps and h o s e s .

Installation
N O T E : When installing, ensure that the fuel flow
is in the correct direction.
Install the fuel filter retaining strap.
Connect the h o s e s and tighten the h o s e c l a m p s .
Remove the MOT. 4 5 3 clamps.
Lower the vehicle.
Fuel Filter (Wagoneer/Cherokee/Comanche)
Removal
R a i s e and support the vehicle
Remove filter retaining strap bolt (A).
Install clamp MOT. 453.01, or equivalent, to the
inlet side of the filter.
Remove h o s e c l a m p s (B).
Remove filter ( C ) .
