Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor
N O T E : T h e M A P s e n s o r is located on the
plenum chamber rear panel.
Removal
Disconnect the wire h a r n e s s connector (A).
Disconnect the vacuum hose (B).
R e m o v e the retaining nuts (C).
R e m o v e the MAP s e n s o r from the plenum
chamber panel.

Installation
P o s i t i o n the M A P s e n s o r on the p l e n u m
chamber panel.
Install the M A P s e n s o r - t o - p l e n u m c h a m b e r
panel nuts (C).
Connect the vacuum hose (B),
Connect the wire harness connector (A).
Electronic Control Unit (ECU)
Removal
Remove the retaining s c r e w s and bracket that
support the E C U below the glove box.
A. Attaching S c r e w s
B. Bracket
C . E C U
D. Wire Connectors

R e m o v e the E C U .
Disconnect the wire h a r n e s s connectors from
the E C U .
Installation
Connect the wire h a r n e s s connectors to the
replacement E C U .
Position the replacement E C U in the bracket.
Install the bracket and E C U retaining s c r e w s .
