THROTTLE BODY FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM

R e m o v e the throttle body assembly from the
intake manifold.
If the throttle body assembly is being replaced,
t r a n s f e r the following c o m p o n e n t s to the
r e p l a c e m e n t throttle body: I S A m o t o r / W O T
switch bracket assembly.
Installation
Install the replacement throttle body assembly
on the intake manifold. U s e a replacement
gasket between the components.
~ | Install the throttle body-to-manifold retaining

nuts (J) on the studs,

O Connect the vacuum h o s e s .

Connect the fuel return pipe (H) to the throttle
body.
Connect the fuel supply pipe (G) to the throttle
body.
— Connect the wire h a r n e s s connector to the W O T
switch ( E ) .
— ' Connect the wire h a r n e s s connector to the ISA
motor (F).
C o n n e c t the T P S wire connector (I).
Install the throttle cable and return spring.
Install the lower bonnet a s s e m b l y ( C ) and
retaining nuts (B).
Install the upper bonnet a s s e m b l y (A).
Fuel Body Assembly
Removal
R e m o v e t h e t h r o t t l e b o d y a s s e m b l y a s
described in this section.
R e m o v e the 3 Torx head s c r e w s (A) that retain
the fuel body (B) to the throttle body ( C ) .
R e m o v e the original gasket and discard.

Installation
Install the replacement fuel body (B) on the
throttle body (C) using a replacement gasket.
Install the 3 body-to-throttle retaining Torx head
s c r e w s (A) and tighten securely.
Install the throttle body assembly a s described
in this section.
