Fuel Filter
N O T E : T h e fuel filter is located on the right rear
frame member.
Removal
R a i s e and support the vehicle.
Place MOT. 453 clamps (or equivalent) on the
h o s e s .
R e m o v e the fuel filter retaining strap bolt and
nut.
R e m o v e the hose clamps and h o s e s .

Installation
N O T E : W h e n installing, ensure that the fuel flow
is in the correct direction.
Install the fuel filter retaining strap.
Connect the h o s e s and tighten the h o s e clamps.
Remove the MOT. 453 clamps.
Lower the vehicle.
Fuel Tank, Pump/Gauge Sending Unit
Removal
Disconnect the battery c a b l e s .
Remove the fuel from the tank.
Disconnect the wire h a r n e s s connector (A).

Position a jack beneath the tank.
Separate the fuel filler tube from the tank.
Remove the fuel tank retaining bolts and lower
the tank gradually with the jack.
