Installation (cont'd)
1 1 . Use suction cups to hold the quarter glass over the
o p e n i n g , a l i g n t h e c l i p s o r t h e a l i g n m e n t m a r k s
m a d e i n s t e p 5 , a n d s e t i t d o w n o n t h e a d h e s i v e .
Lightly push on the quarter glass until its edges are
f u l l y s e a t e d o n t h e a d h e s i v e a l l t h e w a y a r o u n d .
N O T E : D o n o t o p e n o r c l o s e t h e d o o r s u n t i l t h e
adhesive is dry.
L e t t h e a d h e s i v e d r y f o r a t l e a s t o n e h o u r , t h e n
s p r a y w a t e r o v e r t h e q u a r t e r g l a s s a n d c h e c k f o r
leaks. lvlark leaking areas, and let the quarter glass
dry, then seal with sealant.
NOTE: Let the car stand for at least four hours after
quarter glass installation. lf the car has to be used
within the first four hours, it must be driven slowly.
R e i n s t a l l a l l r e m a i n i n g r e m o v e d p a n s .
NOTE: Advise the customer not to do the following
things for two to three days:
. Slam the doors with all the windows rolled up.
. Twist the body excessively (such as when going
i n a n d o u t o f d r i v e w a y s a l a n a n g l e o r d r i v i n g
over rough, uneven roads).

1 2 . Scrape or wipe the excess adhesive off with a putty
knile or towel.
NOTE: Use a soft shop towel dampened with alco-
hol to remove adhesive from a painted surface or
t h e q u a r t e r g l a s s .
