Rear Damper
Lower the rear suspension and position the damper
with the welded nut pointed toward the front of the
vehicle.

Loosely install the two flange nuts.

Tighten these nuts in step 7 on the next page.

Install the wheel sensor wire bracket.
N O T E : B e c a r e f u l w h e n i n s t a l l i n g t h e s e n s o r s t o
avoid twisting wires.
Raise the rear suspension with a floor iack until the
vehicle just lifts off the safety stand.

The floor jack must be securely posi-
tionod or personal iniury may result.
5 . I n s t a l l t h e d a m p e r m o u n t i n g b o l t a n d t h e f l a n g e
bolt, then tighten the bolts.
N O T E : T h e d a m p e r m o u n t i n g b o l t a n d t h e f l a n g e
b o l t s h o u l d b e t i g h t e n e d w i t h t h e d a m p e r u n d e r
vehicle load.

Tighten the three wheel sensor wire bracket bolts
{for vehicles with ABS).
