Unit Removal
NOTE: The original radio has a coded thelt protection
circuit. Be sure to get the customer's code number before
- disconnecting the battery.
- removing the No. 47 (7.5 A) fuse in the under-hood
fuse/relay box.
- removing the radio.
After service. reconnect power to the radio and turn it on.
When the word "CODE" is displayed, enter the cus-
tomer's 5-digit code to restore radio operation.

FRONT CONSOLE
Remove the four mounting screws, then remove the
front console.
Loosen the two mounting screws. then disconnect
t h e 1 6 P c o n n e c t o r a n d t h e a n t e n n a l e a d , a n d D u l l
out the stereo radio/cassette plaver.
