Disassembly
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the metal rings on the
intermediate shaft during disassembly.
1. Remove the set ring.

Remove the intermediate shaft outer seal from the
oeaflng suppon.
Remove the external circlip.
Press the intermediate shaft out of the shaft bearing
using the special tools and a press.
6.
Press the intermediate shaft bearing out of the bear-
ing support using the specialtools and a press.
