Make sure that snap ring fits snugly in undercut.

3) Align 14 mm screw hole (protrusion portion) of bracket

Then, install adjusting screw

(Temporary tightening is
enough.) Apply grease to tapered part of adjusting screw

before installing.
(If telescopic portion only was disassembled, proceed to item,
"Adjustment of operating effort for telescoping" when
reassembly has reached this stage.)
BRACKET COMPLETE
1) After assembling bracket CP (inner)

with pipe ASSY

insert pin ASSY

in the bracket

With the above state, mount them on
STAND (926740000). Then fix it in a vise. Apply grease to
sliding surfaces of brackets
