Roof Weatherstrip
REMOVAL
1)
Remove clips holding end of roof weatherstrip from
panel.
2)
Remove roof weatherstrip from retainer.

INSTALLATION
1)
Install ends of roof weatherstrip.
2)
Put straight portion into retainer using a roller or spatula.
a. When weatherstrip is dirty or dusty, clean it with water
silicone. This will make weatherstrip as lustrous as a new one.
b. If door glass and weatherstrip are in tight contact with
installed power window, apply water silicone to weatherstrip.
It will increase the wear resistance of weatherstrip.
c. Use a cloth soaked with water silicone (oil must not be
used), and apply two or three times to roof weatherstrip.
Allow several hours for silicone to dry and deliver vehicle only
after weatherstrip has dried completely.

Stabilizer
REMOVAL
1)
Remove trim panel.
2)
Remove rearview mirror from door.
3)
Remove sealing cover.
4)
Remove outer weatherstrip.
5)
Loosen bolt securing inner stabilizer,and remove stabilizer
through access hole.

Loosen screw securing outer stabilizer, and remove
stabi I izer from top of door.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
a. To prevent roller stabilizer and glass from chattering, fix
inner stabilizer while pressing glass outward.
b. Be careful to keep roller stabilizer clean.
c. Install inner stabilizer so that roller stabilizer is parallel to
glass surface.
Tightening torque:
5.4 - 9.3 N'm (0.55 - 0.95 kg-m, 4.0 - 6.9 ft-Ib)
