LOCKING DEVICE (REAR LIMIT SWITCH,
WARNING SWITCH)
1) Remove E-clip which fixies pin of the rail and tube and
pull out the pin.

2) Remove tube in the rail.
3) Pull out locking device by sliding.

SHOULDER ANCHOR (EMERGENCY RELEASE
BUCKLE) & MOTOR ASSY
1)
Remove locking device.
2)
Remove motor ASSY wire and shoulder anchor as a unit
from guide rail.
ASSEMBLY
Assembly is the reverse order of disassembly.
a. Assemble plastic part and shoulder anchor to wire end, as
shown in Figure 35, and insert into guide rails.

b. Do not remove grease from wire.
c. Do not bend or twist wire too sharply.

Use M5·bolts length 12 mm (0.47 in) (901010001) or equiv·
alent when installing assist rails.
OPERATION CHECK
Perform operation checks after replacing parts.
RAI L & MOTOR ASSY
While latching shoulder belt on shoulder anchor (emergency
release buckle). open and close the door to check that
shoulder anchor moves smoothly without binding, free play.
