Outer Handle
REMOVAL
1) Remove trim panel.
2)
Remove sealing cover.
3)
Completely close window.
4)
Separate outer handle, key lock and door latch rod.
5)
Loosen two nuts which hold outer handle, and remove
outer handle from outside and handle bracket from inside.

INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
Always install handle bracket with arrow mark facing upward.
Tightening
torque:
5.4 - 9.3 N·m (0.55 - 0.95 kg·m, 4.0 - 6.9 ft·lb)

Adjust escutcheon to panel properly so that there is no gap.
b. Adjust play between outer handle rod and door latch lever
to 0.5 to 1 mm (0.020 to 0.039 in) with adjusting nut pro·
vided.

Door Weatherstrip
REMOVAL
1)
Remove trim panel.
2)
Remove rearview mirror from door.
3)
Remove speaker.
4)
Completely close window.

Remove sealing cover.
6)
Remove weatherstrip at the hook section on the lower
end of gusset and slanted section.

7)
Extract weatherstrip mounting clips from panel.

Outer Weatherstrip
REMOVAL
1) Remove trim panel.
2) Remove rearview mirror from door.
3) Remove end of body weatherstrip.
4) Remove rivet washer securing rear of outer weatherstrip.
5) Put a flat-bladed screwdriver in between outer weather-
strip and door panel, and remove weatherstrip by pulling it
upward. (Be careful not to damage door panel.)
INSTALLATION
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
