5. Verify that the holes of the plate retainer and the septum are aligned. If the holes are not aligned,
take the assembly apart, then re-assemble.
IMPORTANT! The array tips will be damaged if the plate retainer and septum holes are not
aligned.
8-tube strip assembly, standard or fast
IMPORTANT! Use the correct 8-tube standard or fast strips plate retainer and plate base with the
same catalog number. Using the wrong plate base may affect performance. See Appendix D, "Catalog
numbers" for plate assembly specifications and catalog numbers.
