Determine if the drawer has any loose or short-circuited wires.
If the wires
are loose or short-circuited
are not loose or short-circuited, the fuse is a ringing
voltage fuse (RA or RB) and all five drawers in the
shelf are not complete

voltage fuse (RA or RB) and all five drawers in the
shelf are complete
are not loose or short-circuited, the fuse is one of the
line drawer fuses (01 to 15)

Reseat all the line cards in the drawer and repeat steps 20 and 21 for the next
drawer.

Reseat the line cards one at a time.

Determine if the fuse is blown after you reseat each card.
If after you
reseat any line card, the fuse blows again
reseat all of the line cards, the fuse does not blow

Remove the line card from the drawer.

Obtain a replacement line card. Make sure the replacement card has the
same product engineering code (PEC), including the suffix, as the card
removed.

Insert the replacement line card into the drawer.
