Clearing an RMM major alarm
At the MAP terminal

Enter this procedure from a PM system level alarm clearing procedure step.
This step must identify a PM alarm associated with an RMM fault.
To silence the alarm, type:
>MAPCI;MTC;PM;SIL
and press the Enter key.
To identify the RMM that has faults, type:
>DISP STATE SYSB RMM
and press the Enter key.
Example of a MAP response:
SysB
RMM: 2
To post the SysB RMM from step 3, type:
>POST RMM
rmm_no
and press the Enter key.
where
rmm_no
is the number of the RMM that has faults
To manually busy the RMM that appears in step 4, type:
>BSY
and press the Enter key.
To perform a test on the RMM that has faults, type:
>TST
and press the Enter key.
If test
passes
fails because of load failure
fails because C-side links not
available
fails and the system generates a
card list
