Use the following table to identify which shelves, converters, and circuit
breakers (CB) are associated with the alarm and control card you want to
replace.

Record the numbers of the shelves and CBs associated with the alarm and
control card.

Record the numbers of each outside plant module (OPM), remote
maintenance module (RMM) and emergency stand alone (ESA) module
associated with the alarm and control card to be replaced.
At the MAP display

Access the PM level of the MAP display by typing
>MAPCI;MTC;PM
and pressing the Enter key.

Post the OPM that is controlled by the alarm and control card as recorded in
step 5 by typing
>POST LCM
and pressing the Enter key.

Loss of service
This procedure contains directions to busy one or more
peripheral modules (PM) in a frame. Since busying a PM
affects subscriber service, replace alarm and control cards
only during periods of low traffic.
