Indication
The following text beneath the PM header at the MTC level of the MAP
display indicates an alarm in an outside plant module (OPM):

Meaning
One or both units of the OPM do not have a talk battery.
Result
If circuit breaker CB8 is affected, call processing ceases. There is no alarm.
If circuit breaker CB9 is affected, call processing ceases. An alarm sounds to
indicate this condition.
