Determine if the fuse is blown.
If the fuse
is blown
is not blown

Remove the fuse holder that contains the blown fuse.
At the OPM site

Trip the circuit breaker CB8 or CB9 to remove the talk battery filter from the
circuit to prevent a blown cartridge fuse.
If affected unit
is Unit 0
is Unit 1
At the PDC frame

Replace the cartridge fuse in the fuse holder.

Replace the blown fuse.

Install the fuse holder on the PDC frame again.
At the OPM site

Move the switch to the ON/OFF position and back to the ON position in quick
sequence. This action resets circuit breaker CB8 or CB9 and causes the LED
device to go off.
If circuit breaker
trips again
remains at the ON position and
the LED goes off
OPM alarm clearing procedures

Risk of fire
For continued protection against risk of fire, replace the
blown fuse with a fuse of the same type, rating (color code),
and manufacturer.
