Hold the front cover of the line drawer to steady it with your left hand.

Pull the extractor away from the drawer to unplug the card from its socket
on the drawer backplane.

Continue pulling the card with the extractor until the card is clear of the
shroud.
g
Insert the removed card into an ESD container and store according to
local procedures.
Verify that the product equipment code (PEC) on the nameplate of the
removed card and of the replacement card is the same.
Replace the faulty card using the following steps:
a
Remove the replacement card from its ESD container.
b
Slide the card into the shroud guide slots toward the drawer backplane.
c
Hold the front cover of the line drawer with your left hand to steady it.
d
Grasp the top and bottom edges of the card with the fingers of your right
hand.
