Indication
At the MTC level of the display, nLCM appears under the PM subsystem
header. A *C* under the nLCM indicates a critical alarm involving an LCM.
The n indicates the number of LCMs with this alarm.
Meaning
The ringing generator units are in the in-service trouble (ISTb) state.
Result
If both ringing generator units fail, the system cannot automatically switch to
an active ringing generator (SwRG). The system cannot generate ringing.
This condition affects subscriber service.
