INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1 Check STOP fuse.
Instrument panel junction block No.1:
STOP Fuse
OK
2 Check stop light switch.
OK
DIAGNOSTICS
PREPARATION:

CHECK:
Check fuse continuity.
OK:

PREPARATION:
Disconnect the stop light switch connector.

CHECK:
Check continuity between terminals.

– CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Remove the STOP fuse from instrument panel junction
block No.1.
There is continuity.
Replace STOP fuse.
Switch position
Switch pin free
(Brake pedal depressed)
Switch pin pushed in
(Brake pedal released)
Replace stop light switch.
