T i m i n g B e l t R e p l a c e m e n t (cont'd)
9. Install the auto-tensioner.
NOTE: Make sure the pin stays in place.
10. Screw the battery clamp bolt in as s h o w n to hold
the t i m i n g belt adjuster. Tighten it by hand; do not
use a w r e n c h .
11. A p p l y liquid thread lock to the idler pulley bolt, then
loosely install the idler pulley.
12. Install the t i m i n g belt in a counterclockwise
sequence starting w i t h the drive pulley.
- 1 Drive pulley (A)
- 2 Idler pulley (B)
- 3 Front camshaft pulley (C)
- 4 Water p u m p pulley (D)
- 5 Rear camshaft pulley (E)
- 6 Adjusting pulley (F)

13. Tighten the idler pulley bolt.
