6. Inspect the rocker arm synchronizing pistons (A).
Slide t h e m into the rocker arms. If they do not
move smoothly, replace the rocker arm set.
NOTE:
• A p p l y new engine oil to the pistons w h e n
reassembling.
• W h e n removing the pistons f r o m the intake
primary rocker arm B and exhaust secondary
rocker arms (C), carefully apply air pressure to
the oil passage of the rocker a r m .
