BRAKE SYSTEM - FRONT BRAKE(SS-FE, 35-GE w/o Super Strut T

DER BOOT
Using a screwdriver, remove the cylinder boot set ring
and cvlinder boot from the cylinder'
REMOVE PISTON
Place a piece of cloth or similar article botwosn tho
piston and lhe ca liper.
Use compressed air to remove the piston from the
c v l i n d e r .
CAUTION: Do not plsco your fingers in tront of tho piston
when using compressed air'
REMOVE PISTON SEAL
Using a screwdriver, remove the piston soal from the
cylinder.

REMOVE SLIDING PINS AND DUST BOOTS
(a) Remove the 2 sliding pins from tho torque plate.
(b) Using a screwdriver and hammer, tap out the 2 dust
boots.
