5. DISASSEMELE DIFFERENTIAL CASE
( a ) U s i n g a p i n p u n c h a n d h a m m e r , d r i v e o u t t h e p i n i o n
shaft straight pin.
(b) Remove the pinion shaft from the differential case.
(c) Remove the 2 pinions and side gears with the 4 thrust
washers from each g ear.

(a) Using a screwdriver and hammer, drive out the oil
s e a t .
( b ) U s i n g S S T , p u l l o u t t h € o u t e r r a c o a n d s h i m .

(c) Place the shim into the differential case.
(d) Using SST and a hammer, drive in a new outer racs.
