REMOVE PISTON SEAL
Using a screwdrivgr, remove the piston seal from the
cylind6r.

REMOVE SLIDING PINS AND DUST BOOTS
(a) Remove the 2 sliding pins from tho torque plate.
(b) Using a screwdriver and hammer, tap out ths 2 dust
boots.

Standard ihicknosr:
12.0 mm (0.472 in.)
Minimum thickness:
I .0 mm (0.039 in.)
Replace the pads as a set if a pad's thickness is at tho
minimum thickness or less, or if the pad has sevsre
uneven wear.
