1. INSPECT DRIVE BELT'S INSTALLATION CONDI.
T I O N
Check that the drivo belt fits properly in the ribbed
groov6s.
2. INSPECT DRIVE BELT DEFLECTIN
Using SST, apply a load 9.8 N (10 kgf,22 lbfl.
Measure drive belt deflection.
7A - FE Engine:
6.0 - 7.0 mm (0.23 - 0.27 in.)
55 - FE and 35 - FE Engine:
6.0 - 9.0 mm (0.23 - 0.35 in.)
35 - GE Engine:
9.0 - I I .0 mm (0.35 - 0.43 in.)
