{a) Disconnect the connector from Engine and ECT ECU.
(b) Measure the resistanco betwe€n S1. 52, SL and body
g rou nd.
Resista nca:

(c) Apply battery voltage to each terminal.
Check that an opsration noiss can be heard from the
s o l e n o i d .

Applying 490 kPa (5 kgflcm', 71 psi) of com-
pressed air. check that th6 solenoid valves do not
lea k lhe a ir.

When battery voltags is supplied to the sole-
noids, check that tho solenoid valves open.
INSPECT NEUTRAL START SWITCH

nals for each switch position shown in the table
