INSPECT 1 ST AND 2 ND GEAR RADIAL CLEAB-
ANCE
Using a dial indicator, maasure tho radial clearance
botw€en the goar and shaft.
Standard clearanco:
0.015-0.058 mm (0.0006 - 0.0023 in.)
M a x i m u m c l e a l a n c 6 :
0.070 mm (0.0028 in.)
lf the clearance exceeds the maximum, replaca ths ,**o**rr
gear, needle roller bearing and shaft.

REMOVE REAR BALL BEARING,4TH DRIVEN GEAR
AND OUTPUT GEAR SPACER FROM OUTPUT
SHAFT
Using SST and a press, remove the rear ball bearing
and 4th driven gear.

Removg tha output spacor.
REMOVE 3RD DRIVEN GEAR, 2ND GEAR, NEEDLE
ROLLER BEARING, SYNCHRONIZER RING AND
SPACER
Shift the No.1 hub sleeve into tho
'l st gear'
Using SST and a press, remove the 3rd driven gear.
s s r 0 9 9 5 0 - 0 0 0 2 0
Remove th6 2 nd gear, needla roller bearing, syn-
chronizer ring and sPacer.
REMOVE SNAP RING
Using 2 screwdrivers and
