INSTALL PAD SUPPORT PLATES
I n s t a l l t h 6 4 p a d s u p p o r t p l a t e s .

INSTALL NEW PADS
HINT: lf a brake pad needs replacing, the front brak6
oads must be replaced as a set.
(a) Apply disc brake grease to both sides of the inner antl
- s q u e a l s h i m .
( b ) I n s t a l l t h e a n t i - s q u e a l s h i m s o n e a c h p a d .
(c) Install insida pad with the pad wear indicator plate
f ac ing downward.
( d ) I n s t a l l o u t s i d e p a d .
NOTICE: There should ba no oil or graase adhering to the
friction surfaces of the pads or the disc.
( e ) l n s t a l l t h 6 2 a n t i - s q u e a l s p r i n g s t o t h e p a d s .

INSTALL CALIPER
(a) Draw out a small amount of brake fluid from the
rgssrvo tr.
( b ) P r e s s i n t h 6 p i s t o n w i t h a h a m m e r h a n d l e o r a n € q u i v -
a l6 nt.
H I N T : l f t h e p i s t o n i s d i f f i c u l t t o p u s h i n . l o o s e n t h e
bleeder plug and push in tho piston while letting some
brake fluid esc a pa.
(c) Install the caliper.
(d) Hold the sliding pin and torque the installation bolt.
Torque: 34 N.m (350 kgf .cm. 25 ft lbf )
