REMOVE STABILIZER BAR
Remove the 4 bolts and stabilizer bar from the body.
REMOVE BOTH SIOE CUSHIONS AND BRACKETS
Remove the cushions and brackets from the stabilizsr
bar.

I N S P E C T I O N
INSPECT BALL JOINT FOR ROTATION CONDITION
Flip the ball joint stud back and forth 5 times, as
shown in th€ illustration, before installing the nut.
Using a torque wrench, turn tho nut continuously one
turn every 2 - 4 seconds and take the torque roading
on tho sth tu rn.
Torque (turning):
0.05 - I .0 N.m (0.5 - t 0 kgf 'cm, 2.6 - 8.7 in.'lbf)
lf not within specification, replace the stabilizEr bar

STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

INSTALL STABILIZER BAR
(a) Install tho 2 cushions to th€ stabiliz€r bar.
HINT: Install the cushion to the outside of the paint
l i n e .
(b) lnstall the brackats.
(c) Install th6 stabilizer bar with the brackets, cushions
and bolts.
Torquc: 19 N.m (195 kgf.cm, 14 ft'lbf)

INSTALL BOTH SIDE STABILIZER BAR LINKS
lnstall th€ stabilizer bar links to the stabilizer bar and
shock absorber.
Torquo: 44 l{.m (450 kgf .cm, 33 ft'lbf)
HINT: lf the ball joint Ftud turns tog€ther with the nut,
use a hexagon wrench to hold the stud.
3.
INSTALL RH FUEL TANK BAND
Connect the RH fuel tank band and install the bolt.
To:quc: 40 N.m (400 kgf 'cm, 30 ft'lbf)
