18. REMOVE TRANSMISSION CASE
(a) Rsmove the 17 bolts.
(b) Using a plastic hammsr, tap off the transmission case.
19. REMOVE REVERSE IDLER GEAR AND SHAFT
(a) Pull out the shaft.
(b) Remove the idl6r gear and thrust washer.
20. REMOVE REVERSE SHIFT ARM
(a) Shift the fork shaft into reverse.
(b) Remove ths 2 bolts and oull off the reverse shift arm.

OUTPUT SHAFTS ASSEMBLY
Remove the inout shaft assemblv and outout shaft
assambly togsther with th6 No.1 fork shaft, shift hsad
and shift forks with the interlock pin from ths trans-
axle case.
