SUSPEITISION
AND AXLE - FRONT DRIVE SHAFT(3S-FE, 55_FE}
Matchmarks
(c) Place the matchmarks on the driv6 shaft and tripod.
NOTICE: Do not punch tho mrrks.
(d) Using a brass bar and a hammer, remove the tripoo
joint from the drive shaft.
i{OTICE: Do not tEp the roller,
(e) Using a snap ring expander, remove the snap ring.
5. REMOVE OUTBOARD JOINT BOOT
w,/ DYNAMIC DAMPER (RH DRIVE SHAFT):
REMOVE DYNAMIC DAMPER
Using screwdrivor, remove th6 clamp of th€ dynamic
oamp€r.
Remove the dynamic damper.
7. REMOVE OUTBOARO JOII{T EOOT
(a) Using screwdrivor, romov€ the 2 clamps of the out-
board joint boot.
(b) Remove the boot from th€ outboard joint.
NOTICE: Do not diras3omblc tho outboard joint.
8.
REMOVE DUST COVER
LH Drive Shaft:
Using SST and press, pross out th6 dust cover from
the inboard joint tulip.
