I F N E C E S S A R Y , R E P L A C E T E F L O N R I N G A N D O -
R I N G
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the tef lon ring and O -
ring from the stoering rack.
NOTICE: 8o caretul not to damage tho groova for the
taflon ring.
( b ) C o a t a n a w O - r i n g w i t h p o w e r s t e s r i n g f l u i d , a n d
i n s t a l l i t .
(c) Expand a new teflon ring with your fingers.
NOTICE: Bs careful not to over-expand the 7in9.
(d) Coat tho ring with power steering fluid.
(e) Install the ring to th6 stsering rack, and snug it down
with your fingers.
5.
IF NECESSARY. REPLACE 4 TEFLON RINGS
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the rings from the con-
trol valve assem bly.
NOTICE: Be careful not to damago the groovas for the
ring.
