Antenna Nut
ANTENNA ROD REMOVAL AND
INSTALLATION
1.
REMOVE ANTENNA ROD
HINT: Perform this operation with the negative (-)
terminal cable connected to the battery.
(a) Turn the ignition switch to
'LOCK' position.
(b) Remove the antonna nut.
(c) Press the'AM, FM'buttons on tho radio receiver and
simultaneously turn tho ignition switch to'ACC'posi-
tton.

The rod will extend fullv and be released from tho
motor antonna.

After removing the antenna rod, leave the ignl-
tion switch at
'ACC'.
NOTICE: To prevent body damage when the lntonnr rod
lr releared, hold thc rod while it comot out.
2.
INSTALL ANTENNA ROD
(a) Insert the cable of the rod until it reaches the bottom.

HINT:

When inserting tho cabl6, the teoth on tho cable
must face toward the f ront of the vehicle.

Insert th€ antenna approx. 300 mm (1 1 .8 in.)
