HINT: Coat all of the sliding and rotating surfaces with
gear oil bsfore ass6mblY.

(a) Install the 3 springs and shifting koys to tho clutch
h u b .
(b) Install tho hub sleeve to tho clutch hub
HINT: Position the identification groovs of the hub
slo€ve to the front of the transmission.

(a) Using SST and a press, install the thrust washer.

(b) Apply gear oil to the needle roller bearing.
(c) Place the synchronizer ring on thE gear and align the
ring slots with the shifting keYs.

INSPECT lST GEAR THRUST CLEARANCE
Using a feeler gauge, measuro the lst g€ar thrust
clearan ce.
