7. DISCONNECT LOWER BALL JOINT FROM LOWER
A R M
(a) Remove th6 bolt and 2 nuls.
(b) Disconnect the lower balljoint from lower suspension
a r m .
8 . D I S C O N N E C T D R I V E S H A F T F R O M A X L E H U B
Using a plastic hammer, disconnect the drive shaft
from the axle hub.
NOTICE: Covei the drive shaft boot with cloth to Drotoct
it f rom damage.
9.
REMOVE LH DRIVE SHAFT
( a ) U s i n g h u b n u t w r e n c h a n d h a m m e r h a n d l e o r e q u i v a -
lent, pull out the drive shaft as shown.

(b) Using a screwdriver, remove tho snap ring.
1 0 . R E M O V E R H D R I V E S H A F T
(a) Remova the 2 bolts of the contsr bearing bracket, and
pull out the RH drive shaft together with the center
bearing case and cent6r drive shaft.
(b) Remove the center drive shaft with the RH drive shaft
to the transaxle through ths bsaring bracket.
