w h i l e p u s h i n g i t t o t h e g s a r c o n e . C h e c k t h a t t h e r i n g
lo c ks.
lf it does not lock, replace the synchronizer ring.
(c) Msasure the clgarance botwsen the synchronizer ring
b a c k a n d g e a r s P l i n e s n d .
Minimum clearance:
MX
0.7 mm (0.028 in.)
lf the clearance is Iess than the limit, replace the
sYnchronizer ring.

C L E A R A N C E
Using a feelgr gaugo. measure the clearance between
th6 hub slaeve and shift fork.
Maximum clearance:
1 .0 mm (0.039 in.)

INSPECT OUTPUT SHAFT
(a) Chsck the output shaft for wear or damage.
(b) Using a micromstsr, measure the outer diameter of
lho output shaft journal surface

Maximum runout:
0.06 mm (0.0024 in.)
