2, REMOVE SHIFT INTERLOCK PLATE AND NO. 1
S H I F T I N N E R L E V E R
(a) Using a pin punch and hammer, drive out the slotted
spring prn from the No.1 shift inner lever.
(b) Rsmovs the shift intorlock plat€ and No.1 shift inner
lsver.
3. REMOVE SELECT INNER LEVER
(a) Using a pin punch and hammer, drive out the slottsd
spring pin from th6 select inner l6ver.
(b) Remove the select inner lever, spring and No.1 select
spflng seat.
4 . R E M O V E S N A P R I N G
Using 2 screwdrivers and a hammsr, tap out tho snap
r i n g .
5.
REMOVE CONTROL SHAFT COVER AND BOOT
6.
IF NECESSARY, REPLACE CONTROL SHAFT
COVER OIL SEAL
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the oil seal.
