D r ACTUATOR CIRCUIT
HINT: While carrying out the following inspection, make certain that the connectors and terminals
are pro perly con nected.
ACTU ATOR
Disconnect connector trom sctuator and lnspect
conn€ctor on wirs harness side as follows.
o Oo€n circuit in wir€ harness b€tween tsrmanal
4 of actuator and ground.
. Ground faulw.
INSPECT GROUND CONNECTION
l s t h s r e c o n t i n u i t y b e t w e e n t e r m i n a l 4 a n d g r o u n d ?
R€place actuator. Then rechock system.
INSPECT ACTUATOR
ls actuator operation normal?
Reinstsll stop Iight switch propsrly. Th€n rschsck
system,
INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH INSTALLATION
ls stop llght switch install€d properly?
Connoct connoctor to Sctuator.
Disconnect connoctor from stop light switch and
inso€ct connsctor on wire harnsss side as follows.
Open or short circuit in wirs harnsss betw€en
tarminals 4 of stop light and 5 of actuator.
TNSPECT MAGNET CLUTCH CIRCUIT
ls thor6 apDrox. 38.5 O betwsen t€rminal 4 and
grou nd?
Replace stop light switch. Th€n rocheck system.
INSPECT STOP LIGHT SWITCH
ls slop light switch operation normal?
