AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM - WATER VALVE
WATER VALVE
WATER VALVE REMOVAL
1, DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT FROM RADIATOR
HINT: lt is not necassary to drain out all the coolant.
2, REMOVE WATER VALVE
(a) Disconn6ct the water valve control cable.
(b) Disconnect the water hose from the hoater radiator
ptpe.
(c) Disconnect th6 wat6r hose from th6 wat€r valve.
(d) Remove the bolt and the water valve.
WATER VALVE INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL WATER VALVE
(a) Push th€ water hose onto th6 heater radiator pipe as
far as th6 ridge on the pips and install the hos€ clip.
(b) Install water valve with the bolt.
2. CONNECT HEATER HOSE TO WATER VALVE
3. CONNECT WATER VALVE CONTROL CABLE TO
WATER VALVE
(a) Set the temperature control switch to'COOL'.
(b) Set the water valve lever to'COOL', install the control
cable and lock the clamp.
HINT: Lock the clamp while lightly pushing the outer
cable in the direction shown by th€ arrow.
