USE OF PBOPER O_RINGS AND SEALS
O-rings and seals usod for convontional CFC12 air
conditioning syst€ms cannot b€ us6d for HFC 1 34a air
conditioning systems.
Always use genuine Toyota HFCl34a system O-
rings and seals for HFC134a air conditioning systems.
f f O - r i n g s a n d l o r s e a l s f o r C F C | 2 a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g
systoms are used by mistake in the connections of an
HFC1 34a air conditionrng syst6m, the O - ring and
seals will foam and swell resulting in leakage of refrig-
orant.

TIGHTEN CON]tIECTING PARTS SECURELY
Securely tighten the connecting parts to prsvent leak-
ing of rofrig€ra nt gas.

Apply a few drops of compressor oil to O - ring

and to prevent reakins

CAUTIOI{: Apply only ND - OIL I compressor oil.

Tighten tho nuts using 2 wrenches 1o avoid twist-
ing the tube.

Tighten th€ O-ring fittings or the bolted type
fittings to the specified torque.

INSERT PLUG IMMEDIATELY IN DISCONNECTED
PARTS
Insert a plug immediately in the disconnected parts to
provont th6 ingress of moisturo and dust.

DO NOT REMOVE PLUG FROM NEW PARTS UNTIL
IMMEDIATELY BEFORE INSTALLATION

DISCHARGE GAS IN NEW COMPRESSOR FROM
CHARGING VALVE BEFORE INSTALLING IT
lf the gas in the new comprossor is not discharged
first. compressor oil will spray out with gas when tho
plug is removod.
