lf continuity is not as specified, replace the switch,
M I R R O R M O T O R I N S P E C T I O N
INSPECT MIRROR MOTOR OPERATION
( ): W/ Mirror Heater
(a) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l 3 ( 6 ) a n d n e g a t i v e ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l 2 ( 5 ) ,
check that the mirror turns upward.
(b) Reverse the polarity, check that the mirror turns dow-
nward.
(c) Connect the positive (*) lead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l 1 ( 4 ) a n d n e g a t i v s ( - ) l e a d t o t e r m i n a l 2 ( 5 ) ,
check that the mirror turns to left side.
(d) Reverse the polarity, check that the mirror turns to
right side.
lf operation is not as specified, replaca the mirror.
