SERVICE TOOLS FOR HFC134a AIR
C O N D I T I O N I N G
When servicing HFC134a air conditioning systoms
always use th6 HFC134a dedicated manifold gaugos,
gas leak d6t6ctor and vacuum pump adaptor.
1. USE MANIFOLD GAUGES FOR HFC134a AIR CoN-
DITIONING
Always use HFC134a dedicated manifold gaugos to
prevent CFC 12 and CFC 12 compressor oil con-
taminating the HFC134a syst€m.
2.
USE HFGl34a GAS LEAK DETECTOR
Similarly, always use an HFC 134 a dedicated leak
detect or. The CFC12 leak detector is not suffici€ntly
sensitive.
3.
USE VACUUM PUMP
The vaccume pump has 2 connection ports, one for
CFC12 and one for HFC134a.

Be 3ure to clolc off rh6 mecifold geuge valve immediately
rftcr cvlcurting tho rystem. Thrn you may rwitch off
the ylcuum pump. lf thir ordcr b rcversed, tho line will
be temporarily opon to atmosphoie.
