(a) Remove tha boot clamps.
(b) Loosen the tie rod end lock nuts.
(c) Turn the left and right tie rod ends an equal amount to
adjust the toe - in.
Toc - in (total):
A * B = 0 ' 1 2 ' + 6 '
(C-D = 2 t 1 mm, 0.08 + 0.04 in.)
HINT: Measure that the lengths of the l6ft and right tie
rod end length are the same.
Tic rod cnd lcngth difference:
I .5 mm (0,059 in.) or loss
(d) Torque the tie rod end lock nuts.
Torquc: 56 N.m (570 kgf.cm, 42 ft.lbf)
(e) Plac6 th6 boot on the seat and install the clamp.
HINT: Make sur6 that the boots ar6 not twisted.
