switch body with the switch ON (swrtch pin releasad)'
(b) Check that thero is no continuity botween terminal
and switch body with the switch OFF (switch pin
p u s h e d ) .
lf continuity is not as specified, replace the switch'

Disconnect the connector from the door courtesy
switch, and ground tarminal 1 on the wire harness
s i d e c o n n e c t o r a n d c h e c k t h a t t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t l i g h t s
u p .

(a) Connect ths positive (+) lead from the battery to
t e r m i n a l 1 a n d n e g a t i v e l e a d ( - ) t o t e r m i n a l 3 '
(b) Connect the positiva (+) lead from the voltmeter to
t e r m i n a l 2 a n d n e g a t i v e l e a d t o t e r m i n a l 3 .
(c) Turn the rheostat knob and check that ths voltage
c n a n g o s .
